Dave Kapaun

David has over thirteen years in manufacturing recycling program markets. He possesses a unique vision of the recycling process from inception to completion. He has been instrumental in the vision and development of custom recycling programs for the manufacturing industry which track and report on scrap, scrap valuation, staffing, and logistics.

David’s ability and forward thinking has been the catalyst for the Total Scrap Logistics program. Total Scrap Logistics is one module of a very robust Dynamic Link portfolio addressing industry forecasting and futures. He and Steven began collaboration on the possibilities, laying out the groundwork and architectural development of Total Scrap Logistics.

David served more than nine years in the Kansas Army National Guard as a military police officer. During his term with the Army National Guard, David was deployed and served one combat tour for our country. Since David’s enlistment he has held the position of General Manager for industry leading recyclers.

Steven Kapaun

Steven spent his early years studying software development languages and techniques at Butler Community College and Newman University. During his time as a software developer, he created and maintained an open-source script library where he offers stand-alone web-based programs. The users of his script library can download and integrate with their own development efforts.

Steven has spent the last 15 years as an independent software developer, exceling in web-based technology as well as Windows Desktop Application programming. His experience in the scrap metal industry at the deepest levels provides him with the working insight of the scrap industry “best practices and processes”.
